Assistant Buyer

The Terre Luxury brand has a strong e-commerce presence and sells 90% of its product online, which is shipped from its corporate warehouse located in Palm Beach, FL and other locations.

Terre Luxury’s tremendous growth can be traced back to the talented individuals that have joined our company over the years. We are now seeking a talented Customer Care Associate to join our Customer Care Team to help shape all foundational Customer Care programs for Terre Luxury.
Job Description
Position Title: Assistant Buyer
Reports To: Stockroom Supervisor
Summary/Objective:
The Buying Coordinator is responsible for preparing all Purchase Orders (POs), building products and establishing pricing in support of the Sales + Assortment Strategy for Terre Luxury Collection. This position will manage multiple vendor relationships and accountable for preparing complex, high-value POs in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Functions:
·Create and maintain all purchase orders; verify and double check all details, partner with vendors to correct any errors prior to submitting for approval
·Submits all POs for approval process following Finance guidelines
·Works closely with 200+ vendors on a daily basis to coordinate PO details
·Manage reorder processes and POs; ensure accuracy in pricing, costs, order quantities, etc.
·Build and price all products ensuring accuracy in margins
·Convert flash sale and regular priced items to clearance items; tag on Shopify for approval
·Responsible for set-up and maintenance of catalog of incoming samples; add shot list into daily sales doc
·Support team in pulling reporting data for Daily Sales Reports and manages reporting for Daily ST reporting
·Support team in creation of Trend Boards
·Support in-season business reaction with changes to categories, style or style/color display, sort orders
·Participate in weekly Buying team meeting to understand site strategy and changes
·Based on Buying Team’s direction, responsible for the maintenance of the web/category hierarchy in systems, including category and sub-category set up
·Review website daily to ensure proper functionality of categories & styles
·Enter all pricing actions and confirm all prices went through to the website correctly
·Run monthly + daily inventory report
·On quarterly basis, compile all top sell through items their selling information along with top selling items 450 units or more to determine reorder strategy
·Maintains a strong pulse on current trends
·May perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the company
·Weekly provides Competitive Analysis on Market Data and what other sites are messaging

·Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Mac and Google products; must be highly competent in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
·Knowledge of standard applications (Slack, Office365, Chrome, etc.)
Work Environment:
·Works in an indoor office/home office environment, temperature controlled
·Sit for long periods, standing and walking intermittently
·Use office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, printer
·Occasionally lift or pull up to 20 pounds
Education and Experience:
·Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or equivalent work experience)
·1-3 years prior experience in retail merchandising
·Strong mathematical and analytical skills; demonstrated proficiency working with large data sets
·Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
·Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
Expected Hours of Work:
· This is a full-time position expected to work 40 hours per week
· This position is eligible for remote work.
